Welcome to the Office of the Chief Controller of Accounts

The Principal Accounts Officer (Industry) is common to the following Ministries / Departments of the Government of India:

1. Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (IPP)
2. Ministry of Heavy Industry & Public  Enterprises (HI & PE)
3. Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME)

The   Secretary  of   each   department  is   the   Chief  Accounting  Authority   for   that Department. Presently Sh. R.P. Singh is the secretary in the Department of IPP; Sh. B.S. Meena is the secretary in the Department of HI; Sh. Bhaskar Chatterjee is the secretary in the Department of PE and Sh. Dinesh Rai is the secretary for the Ministry of MSME.

They are assisted in the discharge of the payment & accounting functions by the Additional Secretary &  Financial  Adviser Sh. Saurabh Chandra and  the  Chief  Controller of Accounts Shri. Sudhir Bhandari.

In the office of the  Chief Controller of Accounts  there  are  the  following Officers, who with the support  of  other  officers and  staff, carry  out  the  various   payments  &  accounting functions.
